The Little Dresser That Could...

Well, it is safe to say that I am no longer an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Virgin...  I'm no expert, but certainly no longer a novice. Here is my Craig's List find for $5...in all her chippy goodness.  There were even spiders and that "sweet" just off the farm smell in the drawers.  I love her...so much character...the stories she could tell.

 BEFORE:

I left most of the chips intact and just covered over them with paint. Some sanding, but not too much as I didn't want to lose the integrity of the dresser.
Then, here she is after 2 coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White and two coats of  Clear Wax. A little distressing with the sander before the wax dried and Voila'! It was so easy to apply and I loved how fast it dried!

AFTER:

The knobs are from Hobby Lobby; glass with a distressed red and black wire backing.  Just perfect for my first ASCP experience!  I purchased my paint at our local Nebraska dealer: http://www.keepthepiece.net/http://www.keepthepiece.net/
Diane was awesome! I am so excited to attend a class/workshop in the near future. Like me, she is just starting! So glad you are in Omaha, Diane!
Yes, Little Dresser I Think You Can...

Time to fly!
